We bought the property in 2013 and since then we have built a rustic cabin-style hideaway for our guests. Built with the environment in mind, all the building materials used in the wood structure were sourced in Sweden and we have our own pure water source, as well as geo thermal heating.
The lodge is built to a high standard with many of the luxuries you would expect at home and yet it oozes that cosy, warm feeling you only get from old style forest cabins. Hidden away in a small clearing amongst the trees, we offer two double or twin bedrooms, one double/family room for up to four people, two bathrooms with showers (no bath tub), a small kitchen and open lounge/dining area. Our maximum capacity is 8-10 guests as part of the same group or no more than six individual guests staying with us at any one time. If you have a private group larger than eight please talk to us about your options.
We also have a separate sauna cabin built next to a creek that runs through the property. In the summer time, you can freshen up from the hot sauna by jumping in a natural pool of water but in winter only the brave would break through the ice and dip a toe in! Instead, in the winter you can relax in a warm room adjacent to the sauna itself (also used for changing) or roll around in the fluffy snow outside.
