Drive a Dogsled Tour

Would you like to drive your own dogsled?

On this tour you get your own team of huskies and the chance to drive the sled through the frozen Lapland Wilderness and out over the Torne river.

Snowmobiling Tour

Would you like to take a snowmobile ride, speeding down the frozen Torne river to the famous ICEHOTEL?

This tour is guided, with options to include the ICEHOTEL tour ticket and a buffet lunch.

Both short day tours and multi-day packages are available to give you the best husky tour Kiruna has to offer.

Our day tours take place in both the daytime and evening, where a pack of 12-14 friendly and energetic huskies will transport you either on a stunning forest escape or beautiful aurora hunt. In terms of experiencing a snapshot husky tour Kiruna is the perfect spot.

Our multi-day tours include private experiences with our professional guides – and, of course, our wonderful team of huskies. Different packages have different experiences, so you can choose the perfect tour to make your trip just right for you. Options include a visit to the famous ice hotel, trips on a snowmobile and forest snowshoe walks. Not to mention, every tour includes a personal welcome at Kiruna airport, stays in our premium lodge, access to our private sauna, a chance to see the breath-taking Northern Lights and warm outer clothing and boots for the duration of your trip.

Multi-day options range from three days to a full seven-day ‘hands-on’ dog sledding experience, which includes nights in a deluxe lodge, cabin and tent for the full husky tours Kiruna experience.

A very warm welcome. The accommodation was also very welcoming. And the dogsled ride was absolutely beautiful. We discovered stunning landscapes and were welcomed into a lovely little house halfway through the trip, where we warmed up with a delicious soup made for the owner.
It's a pleasure to see those dogs too ☺️

What an amazing experience sled dogging across the Lapland. Our guide Judit was fantastic, very informative and shared so much about the dogs at their kennel. If you are looking for a great adventure in Kiruna, I highly recommend this tour! So glad they had warm clothing for us to use, this Florida girl would have frozen.

We had the most amazing time during our tour! The dogs were so much fun to be around, and seeing how excited they get for the run is awesome. The guides were excellent in giving us information about the food and the surrounding area. It is beautiful to see man and animals coordinate so well. A brilliant morning with Milos, Gaynor and their team. The Sled ride through the wilderness and onto a frozen lake is magical. The dogs are very friendly and the warm equipment provided was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Dog sledding in Kiruna was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The huskies were full of energy, incredibly well-behaved, and so friendly, making the ride both exciting and comfortable. The trail was stunning, taking us across frozen riverbeds and through snow-covered forests that looked straight out of a fairytale. The guides were exceptional—knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the dogs and the land. Stopping at a cozy tent for coffee and cake by the campfire added such a warm and special touch to the adventure. I can’t recommend this enough—it’s a magical way to experience the beauty of Swedish Lapland!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience. We liked everything: from the pick-up service, to the warm clothing (you can hardly get closer to a Michelin Man), to the incredibly funny and wonderful dogs, it was an extremely successful event. The trip we had booked seemed far too short to us and we would have liked to continue gliding through the white panorama for hours and hours.

Highly recommend Lapland Sleddog adventures, the dogs and experience was amazing! Gaynor our guide and the rest of thee staff were lovely throughout. We stopped off for cake and traditional coffee in a tepee along the frozen lake. Would love to go back!

I was nervous to book a dogsledding tour because I wanted to make sure we went with a group that treats their animals very well. I was impressed with the animal care at Lapland Sleddog adventures. It was a highlight to meet all of the dogs and get to pet them!

We had a really nice dog sledding experience here! They picked us up from Camp Ripan in Kiruna so travel arrangements were easy. Once we got to their kennel we were outfitted with really nice warm boots, mittens, and jackets. The dogs were so excited and happy. Our family (four of us, including 2 kids) all fit on one sled together with the sled driver, who was very helpful and informative answering questions as we were sledding.

The actual sledding was a magical experience, sliding along completely silently through the snowy landscape. it was easy to have a conversation with the sled driver, as she answered all our questions about the experience, the dogs, their business, the area we were going through, etc.

Once we were at the destination, a Sámi teepee, we enjoyed some cake and tea/coffee, then headed back making a big loop. We were sledding through trees and out on the open frozen river. It was such a fun experience!

Superb experience with this company on my first dog sledding stint. They provided the appropriate outwear shoes gloves for you if yours are not suitable for the activity. Guide was very patient and explained all about the dogs, their breed, as well as origin. We were then brought to a hut for coffee and snacks. All the dogs were super friendly and fun too!

Had the best day ever with these wonderful people and dogs. The dogs we so unbelievably brilliant, friendly and fab to learn with. I was terrified in the being but quickly go the hang of it. Gaynor was fantastic she was so clear in her instructions and very patient!

We also did the snowmobiling which was ace. So much fun! Spectacular views. I cannot recommend this company enough for the most fabulous experience. Thank you all so much!
